Oh, yes, lets pull all US troops out of a country with a developing political system!

How do you suppose any sort of democratic system would develop and survive in Iraq if the US was to pull out all troops and just leave the developing of a democratic system to people who obviously need help in the setting up and running of one? Their constitution is not even 3 years old yet....
If the US troops were all to drop what they're doing and scurry off home the democratic system would most certainly crumble.... creating a lovely power vacuum that dictator opportunists will take full advantage of and the problem will start all over again.
The US owes it to the Iraqi people to remain there until the country can stand on it's own.

Really though, the US should just pull out of everywhere and leave them to all blow each other up, then all you "oh bring the poor troops home" people change your tune.....
btw, all the troops who are there chose to be there....it's not like anyone made them join the armed forces.

There are only two outcomes in war, victory or defeat. To pull out now would be a defeat, a waste of all the lives that were lost so that Iraq could have freedom and peace.
